If you plan to pursue a career in studio art, art education, or graphic arts, Lon Morris College is the place to begin. Studio classes are generally limited to 14 students, allowing for personal interaction between students and their professors.
Well-equipped classrooms provide an encouraging environment for drawing, design, painting, printmaking, and ceramics. Graphic artists will find the Kitzman Technology Center provides the latest software to help them progress. A large on-campus gallery showcases the work of LMC students, faculty, and visiting artists.
The Lon Morris Art Association, a student group led by art majors, organizes field trips to galleries and museums, social activities, and fund raisers.
