Current Membership

Faculty Senate
(1)     Membership: five full‑time faculty members to include at least two with a minimum of five years’ experience at Lon Morris.
(2)     Selection:  One member will be elected by each division, a fourth and fifth member will be elected by the faculty at large.
(3)     Purpose:  To coordinate all faculty committees and confer with the administration and faculty at large on matters of general faculty concern.
(4)         Duties:
    (a)  In conjunction with the academic dean, assist in organizing faculty   
          development programs.
    (b)  Communicate any concerns of the faculty to the administration.
    (c)  Assist in establishing long‑range academic planning for the college.
