Theatre Department offers students opportunities to study and experience the theatrical arts culminating in either an Associate of Fine Arts degree or an Associate of Arts degree. 

 

The Lark Fall 2003

The Associate of Fine Arts degree can be completed with an emphasis in either acting or technical theatre.  

The Wiz Spring 2003

Additionally, the Theatre and Music Departments cooperatively offer an Associate of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in musical theatre.

The Associate of Arts degree explores the discipline of theatre as a whole.  This degree program provides the student with a well-rounded liberal arts education in conjunction with a variety of academic and practical theatre experiences.





*All theatre scholarship students and all students pursing the Theatre AFA degree audition for all Theatre Department mainstage productions and student-directed presentations.  Second year technical theatre students in the AFA program are exempt from this requirement with approval of the department chair.
