The swim will take place inside the park in the very clean and clear Wedington lake. Swim course is a point to point. One single transition. Bike course has smooth, fast pavement on lightly traveled paved roads with flat and rolling terrain and one fairly significant climb. The run course which is completely inside the park is a two-loop course on paved roads with a very tough hill on each lap, but with the remainder of the course on rolling, partially shaded terrain.
