At Lon Morris College all full-time students, except those living at home and those 21 years of age or older, live on campus.
There are two female dorms and two male dorms, one on each on either side on the campus. Staff Resident Directors live in each residence hall and supervise students living in their hall. Student Resident Assistants work in the lobby during evening visitation hours. Each dorm is arranged to suite style, meaning the bathroom is shared between 4 students.
The door is secured by an access code given to each student living in the dorm. The door is also monitored after hours.
Two of the dorms, Brown and Clark can change between male and female dorms, depending on enrollment for the year.
Herman Brown Hall This dorm was built in 1969 and was named for Houston businessman Herman Brown. The dorm accommodates 66 students. This facility was remodeled in 1993 and updated in 2004.
Clark Hall This dorm was built in 1965. Clark Hall houses 56 students. The hall was updated in 2003.
Craven Wilson Craven Wilson sits on the corner of campus. This woman’s dorm houses 66 students. It features a full kitchen with a dining area with seating capability for 15 people.
Fair Hall Named for Tyler businessman Walter Fair this men’s dorm was built in 1955, remodeled in the late 1980’s, and then remodeled again in 2004. Fair Hall houses 106 men.
