From the classical masters to contemporary praise and gospel, the music faculty of Lon Morris College offers a well-balanced diet of musical styles.
But it doesn’t stop there! Students are afforded the opportunity to put into practice and performance what is learned in the classroom as well as the rehearsal hall.
Whether you sing or play an instrument, there is an ensemble just right for
you – each of which offers departmental or merit awards to either music or non-music majors.
These ensembles include the MasterSingers, a select group of students that travels to churches of the Texas Annual Conference and participates in their worship services.
Its parent organization, Chapel Choir, provides a large number of students the opportunity to take part in the weekly on-campus Chapel service.
For those instrumentally inclined, the Bearcat Band is for you - providing spirit and support for our nationally ranked athletic teams.
