Stewart joined LMC's athletic coaching staff during the 2003-04 season. Coach Stewart comes to LMC by way of Texas Christian University where he was assistant coach for two seasons. While at TCU, Stewart helped the Horned Frogs to the brink of the NCAA Tournament and a runner-up finish in Conference USA. During his two years in Ft. Worth, he coached eight All-Conference USA selections, two All-Americans and numerous academic all-conference players. Coach Stewart played collegiately at the University of Houston before finishing his playing career at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Stewart holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma and a master's degree from Texas Chrisitian University.
