If I Had A Hammer is a nationally recognized project which Lon Morris College along with the help of gracious donors promotes on campus. 

The project helps elementary students learn valuable skills.  These elementary students come from surrounding school districts to the Lon Morris campus on there assigned days throughout the semester.  Upon arriving the students are given hammers, drills, and screws which they use to build  a small house inside the LMC ballroom.  While the students build, they use math skills, team building, and science to complete the project. 

The director the of program, Meredith Grant, does an excellant job keeping the students on task and learning. 

Every student returns to their respective elementary campus with a If I Had A Hammer T-Shirt and memories which will last a life time!
