ETREYS (East Texas Rural Electric Youth Seminar) Director: Gloria Keith & Ricki Keeling (Rusk County Electric) Camp Dates: June 23-27, 2008 Brief Description: Although this camp will briefly give students an understanding and appreciation of rural, consumer-owned electric cooperatives - its main objective is to enhance leadership skills and establish positive values and self-esteem in our youth. Registration fees: Camp fees are paid by 9 different cooperatives who bring 10 - 20 students each to camp. Students are selected to camp based upon applications and merit, and attend the camp free of charge.
