Room assignments are made based on the date dorm deposits are received and the best compatibility information available. No additional considerations are given for special interest groups, like athletes or theatre, to be placed together in a hall. It is our intention to provide the maximum interaction of all groups on campus to facilitate a well-rounded campus experience.
Room changes are not allowed during the first three weeks of the semester. After that time you must make a written request and have the approval of your dorm director and all students involved.
There are no curfews in the residence halls except that you must sign in and out after midnight and the security personnel must let you in and out because your security code will not work after midnight. There is also a 12 hour Quiet Time from 10:30 pm until 10:30 am so that everyone may enjoy a quiet sleep and study time.
Please be advised that you must provide your own personal property insurance to protect all the items that you bring to campus.
