CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT ADMISSION PROGRAM Students who are still enrolled in a high school program and find that their schedule and time allow them to start their college work before they have graduated from high school may participate in the Concurrent Enrollment Program.
Requirements
High school schedule that affords time to take college courses.
Enrollment in the last year of a three-year or four-year high school plan (last two years if enrolled in the Distinguished Achievement Program).
Minimum “C” average and in good standing with the high school.
Approval from high school principal, counselor, or individual study plan director.
Course load of no more than seven hours each semester, unless approved by the Academic Dean.
Procedures
Current certification of minimum “C” average and in good standing with the high school program.
Letter of approval from the high school principal, counselor, or individual study-plan director.
Completed LMC application. The application fee with be waived until the student applies for regular admission.
