Rosalyn Floyd Tindel, Head Basketball Coach

Rosalyn came to LMC during the 2002-03 season to coach the Lady Bearcats basketball team.
   Floyd, a Wichita Falls native, played college basketball at St. Mary's University in San Antonio as a freshman before transferring to Midwestern State University where she completed her playing career.  While at Midwestern, she played on two teams that advanced to the NAIA National Tournament and was a member of a conference championship team as a junior. 
    A graduate of Burkburnett High School where she holds the record for leading rebounder and member of the school's 1,000 point club, Coach Floyd holds a Bachelor of Science degree from MSU.










Courtney Garrett, Assistant Basketball Coach
    
Courtney Garrett returns to her alma mater as the women’s assistant basketball coach. 
     Courtney who is originally from Longview, Texas transferred from Garden City Community College in Garden City, Kansas after her freshman year to play basketball and soccer for the Lady Bearcats in 2002-2003 which was Coach Floyd’s first year at LMC.  After graduation from LMC, she completed her basketball career at Newberry College in Newberry, South Carolina where she received her degree in  Sports Management.  Courtney has one son,  Kourjyn.
