Departmental Requirements for the Associate of Fine Arts - Technical Theatre
1. For AFA Core Requirement
a. For Core requirement 3: select DRAM 1330 (Stagecraft I) and Dram 1351 (Acting I)
b. For Core PHED or DANC requirement, select DANCE (1 SCH). Theatre students may substitute DRAM 1322 (Stage Movement I)
2. Additional departmental requirements for all AFA Drama students:
a. 1 SCH in DANC
b. 2 SCH in Rehearsal and Performance
c. 4 SCH in Basic Theatre Practice
d. DRAM 2331 (Stagecraft II)
e. DRAM 2361 and 2362 (Theatre History I and II)
3. Additional departmental requirements for AFA with Technical Theatre emphasis:
a. ARTS 1311 (Design I)
b. ENGR 1304 (Technical Drawing)
c. DRAM 2371 and 2372 (Scene Design I and II)
d. DRAM 1342 (History of Costume)
