FACULTY POSITIONS
MATH INSTRUCTOR
Lon Morris College is seeking a full-time Mathematics instructor beginning August 1, 2010.
Responsibilities include teaching a variety of courses ranging from Calculus to developmental math as required to meet the needs of the College. Successful applicants will have a commitment to the Community college role in education and an interest in educating the whole person.Duties and responsibilities will also include assisting in developing and assessing the math curriculum as needed, advising students, participate in college committees and assist in implementing new methods of using technology in math instruction
Qualifications are a Master’s degree (or higher) in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a scientific discipline with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics.Prior college teaching experience is highly desirable. Salary and rank will be based on education and experience.

Tutor hours are typically in the afternoon and evening; classes are held in the LearningEnrichmentCenter.
Bachelor’s Degree in relative field is preferred.
